Ghost Nets

Lynn Kavanagh will be making a presentation on the worldwide problem of abandoned nets in our oceans. These nets kill fish and other marine life throughout the oceans of the world.

Lynn Kavanagh is a Campaign Manager with World Animal Protection. She manages the Sea Change campaign in Canada to address the problem of lost and abandoned fishing gear worldwide.

Prior to working with World Animal Protection, Lynn worked with a grassroots organization advocating for better farm animal welfare. She has a Masters degree in animal behaviour and welfare from the University of Guelph.

We look forward to seeing you on Thursday, November 8, 2018 for this eye opening presentation.
